Fan drive and mechanical parts

• Fans: replacement cooling tower fans.
• Fan Shafts: replacement shafts for belt-driven towers.
• Fan Sheaves and Motor Sheaves: aluminum and cast iron sheaves. Match the belt section and the bushing bore.
• Belts: cooling tower belts, including powerband belts for BAC, Marley and Evapco drives.
• Bearings: heavy duty, cooling tower rated pillow block bearing kits with hardware, including 1-11/16" and 2-3/16".
• Motors: cooling tower duty motors, including TECO Westinghouse.

Water level and freeze protection

• Float Valve Kits: 1" and 2" brass valves with dual rod assemblies and foam filled floats, for makeup water control in the cold water basin.
• Electronic Water Level Controllers: electronic level control for towers that do not use a mechanical float.
• Basin Heaters: INDEECO copper and brass immersion heaters and control panels that keep the basin from freezing in winter.

Fill, water distribution and air intake

• Cross Flow Fill Media and Counter Flow Fill Media: replacement fill for each tower type.
• Nozzles: spray nozzles for even water distribution over the fill.
• Air Inlet Louver: louver media in galvanized or stainless steel frames to control splash-out and sunlight.

Safety, access and structure

• Vibration Switches: heavy duty mechanical cutoff switches with local reset that shut the fan down on excess vibration.
• Catwalks: access platforms for inspection and maintenance.

Common cooling tower replacement parts

Belts and sheaves. Belts stretch and glaze, and worn sheave grooves wear out new belts quickly. Replace them as a set and check the bushings at the same time.

Bearings. Fan shaft bearings run continuously in a wet, warm environment. Noise, heat or play at the shaft means it is time for a new bearing kit.

Float valves. A worn seat or a waterlogged float causes overflow or a low basin level. A kit replaces the valve, rods and float together.

Basin heaters. Test heaters and control panels before the first freeze. A failed heater during a cold snap can leave the tower out of service.

Fill media. Scale, fouling and UV damage reduce the heat transfer surface. New fill restores the tower's cooling capacity.

Vibration switches. A switch that trips repeatedly or will not reset needs replacing, once the fan has been checked for imbalance.

Access door gaskets. A leaking door gasket wastes water and lets air bypass the fill.
